Tristen Naylor, PhD is a world-leading expert in global governance, democracy, and development. With twenty-years of experience in international affairs, he is a trusted advisor to heads of government, ministers, and private sector leaders on topics including multilateralism, anti-corruption, democratic institutions, and research evaluation and dissemination. 

Dr Naylor regularly features as an on-air and in-print expert for international media including The BBC, Associated Press, Reuters, France24, CBC, and ABC. He is Co-Director of the Oxbridge Diplomatic Institute, the world’s premier centre of excellence on diplomacy and effective multilateral engagement, and the Founder of Diplomatic Solutions, a strategy group advising private and public sector actors on their engagement with governance forums including the G7, G20, Davos, and UNFCCC. He concurrently serves on the Advisory Boards of London Politica and The Hague Journal of International Diplomacy.

Previously, Dr Naylor was the Assistant Professor of International Politics and History at the University of Cambridge, the Lecturer in Diplomatic Studies at the University of Oxford, Fellow in International Relations at the London School of Economics, Visiting Professor at NYU Abu Dhabi, and a Foreign Policy Analyst and Advisor to the Government of Canada. He is the recipient of the LSE's Excellence in Education Award (2019), was named 'Most Acclaimed Lecturer' at Oxford (2016), and was recognised with the Canadian Public Service Award of Excellence (2008).
